It started innocently: I wanted Caps Lock to do something useful instead of nothing. Ninety minutes later I had a custom keyboard layer, a new window manager, and a strong opinion about tiling versus floating windows that I did not have that morning.
This is the tech-rabbit-hole life cycle: small annoyance, promising fix, feature creep, and eventually you’re reading a 40-page config file wondering how you got here. Worth it? Ask me again in a week when I inevitably break it.
